Brajeshawari Devi Temple

The Brajeshwari Devi temple, located in the old Kangra Township, is said to have been built over the charred breasts of Sati. This shrine, once renown for its great wealth, has been plundered relentlessly over the ages. The first of the plunderers was Mahmud of Ghazni, who looted it in 1009. A mosque was built on the ruins and a garrison was left behind. 35 years later, the local king regained its possession.

Chamunda Devi
Situated at a height of 1000m above sea-level, Chamunda Devi temple is a famous tourists destination of Himachal Pradesh. Overlooked by the mighty Dhauldhar ranges, the temple is rightly situated on the bank of river Ban Ganga. Every year, a large number of devotees travel to this holistic destination of Himachal Pradesh to get blessings of goddesses ‘Chamunda‘ (Hindu deity).

Maa Jawala Ji

This Popular place of pilgrimage is accessible from kangra (35 Km) as well asDharamsala (56 Km). The ancient temple, built against a wooded spur, has a dome that was glided by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Pilgrims consider an eternally burning flame emanating from a hollow rock in the sanctum to be a manifestation of goddess Devi. The temple comes alive with Nawaratra celebrations and colourful fairs during March-April and Sept-Oct every year. The famous Jwalamukhi Temple is about 56 km from Dharamsala in the Valley of Beas. It is one of the Shaktipeeths. The goddess is manifest here as tiny blue flames and worshiped as such. There is a musical fountain here which is a pleasure to watch during nights.

Chintpurni Maa

Chintpurni Temple is 53 km from Una and dedicated to Mata Shri Chhinnamastika Devi and Mata Chintpurni Devi. This Temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peeths in India. Lying in the Una village of Una district in the state of Himachal, the name of the temple literally means a remover of troubles and worries.
